A historical-cultural complex, where visitors will immerse into the medieval world, will be built 50 km. away from Kiev. The new recreational center will be located in the village Staiky, where in 2006 archeologists discovered fragments of tableware of the times of Scythians, everyday life items of Tripillya, settlements of the 9th - 10th centuries and cemeteries of the 12th century. All these things will be demonstrated to tourists; besides they personally will be able to take part in diggings, have a rest on thermal lakes, fish and hunt.
The territory will be divided into several sectors: scientific-informational and exhibition centers, excavations area with museums and expositions, health and sports centers, a landscape park and hotels.
The touristic complex will be ecological: motor transport will be left by the entrance. Guests will move across the territory, using electric vehicles.
Construction of the complex will be started in the nearest time. It will welcome its first guests in summer of the next year, timed to EURO 2012.
